If you would like to see how I make these cute toast coasters stay tuned, I’m gonna be showing you guys. How do these cute little coasters toast coasters, no light that comes on right, I guess but yeah. These are super cute and fun to make. I will be selling these on my Etsy shop, but if I need some tan yarn for the border of the toast and you’re gonna need not Tambe like that in y’all was dis, hombre yarn right here, I’ll just sit down.
It was that I’m per yard see I’ll change the different colors, that’s what I’m used to for the border, because I didn’t exactly go out and buy the color brown yarn that I’m looking for. I can’t really find it on which is crazy. So I’m using this as the border, as you can see, this is darker than the tan yarn, so two different color yarn, so I’m just gonna hop right into the cup going to we’re going to change gonna glue.
Also this this video is not content up again, you’re friendly, like if you already know the foundations of crocheting, then this will come easy to you. But this is not a beginner friendly video like I’m just going to be going through the motions so yeah, so you’re gonna make a slipknot and you’re gonna change. What is 16 and we’re gonna do a row of single crochet. So one row single crochet and at the end you should only have petite, because that extra one which is 16, that extra one is only a extra it’s for me a time I work around.
So I’m at the end of my work and I’m going to chain to try my work around and we’re not gonna go into this one right here. We’Re gonna go to the second one, because that chain two counts as a double crochet and we’re going to double crochet six rows. So this will actually, secondly, be my first row of double crochet, so we are going to be working in the back chain. So so you see, I went to the back, I’m not going to to both of them.
This is going to bow. You should have only one thing on your on your on your hook. If that makes sense, I don’t know how to explain that, but we’re going to be working in the back chain only so for the whole six double crochet rows. We’Re only going to be working in the back. Yes, so I’m gonna chain two. So, each time I turn my work around I’m gonna chain two turn my work around and skip that first.
One right here skip this one and go straight into this back post right here this back chain and I’m going to continue doing double crochet. Until my six row once I’m done, my six are all gonna come back and show you how to the top of the toast. So I’m gonna see you guys in a minute. Okay. So I’m finishing up well 6 right here, so sometimes my sixth row. This is what it looks like so far, so I’m not gonna change. Anything. I’m just gonna turn my workaround and I’m gonna count six.
So I’m counting this first one as one two three four five six I’m gonna do like three. Five double crochets. I don’t know how to explain this, I’m just going to do it for you guys, so I’m gonna turn over my hook four times, one two three four go into that: sixth, that six double crochet pull it through. So now it’s like! That’S not like, I do double crochet, I’m just going to put the two each time, so I get to 5 so 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and we’re gonna do three of those we’re gonna do three of those.
So that’s the first one, so we’re gonna run up from I’m gonna yarn. Over my hook four times, one two three four go back into that same hole, so you see the hole right there we’re going to go back into that same one. We’re gonna be keep working, it say so to the next to the next top of the toast. So three of those and then we’re going to do the same thing, but with only four so you’re going to yarn over hook 3 times. 1. 2 3 go back into that same hole: 1. 2. 3. 4. I’m gonna do to go into one more 1. 2 3 go back into the same hole: 1, 2, 3, 4, and we’re going to do 3 triple crochets. 1. 2 go 2. 2. 1. 4. 2. 2. 2. 2. 2. 3. 1. 2. 1. 2. 3, one two three, so we’re gonna skip. I don’t know if you guys saw that we’re gonna skip one right here.
Gonna skip this one, we’re gonna go back into the song you’re gon na. Do a single crochet, I’m gonna go through two of those crochet. Then we’re gonna skip another one. We’Re gonna go to this six chain right here and we’re going to do three triple crochets, so want to so kind of working backwards. Now that make sense, so I’m going to teachable crochets two particles, crochets 1, 2. 3. 1. 2. 3. Now we’re going to say with 5 crochet one two, three of those, so one two three four contest same loop go through one, that’s tougher make sure you don’t do what I just did.
We got a tour through and they start over again one two three four go back in there, so pull them to one four, two, two, two, two, two three. This is our last one, so we are done with the top of it. We’Re gonna go we’re gonna go to this last stitch right here and do a single crochet. Next we’re now going to do single crush everybody. Do a slipknot right! So we’re gonna cut that off. I’m gonna leave a like a little bit of make sure yarn, because I’m gonna be changing the color of this.
This is how I changed my color. I think this is very efficient for me, so this is so far. This is what the toasts look like. This is what the toast look like, so we’re gonna go ahead and add that extra color, which is that brown, so we are going to go through this, pull it as tight as you can, and you want to pull this through OOP right, we’ll need some Extra extra yarn, so we can tie it knot and we’re going to single crochet around this whole toast.
So I’m going to hold these two back here together, I’m going to chain one and go back into the same corner, so it can make us like a square type D, [, Music ]. I had single crochet up to the top of the little toast and I’m gonna do three single crochets and wine home if that makes sense, so that was one two three and I’m gonna continue and I ain’t gonna stop when there’s only one chain Left so this, so this last one left, so I’m gonna skip this one and I’m gonna go into the middle one right here.
They do one single crochet and I’m going to skip this one and I’m gonna go into that second way so which everyone I feel like it’s, the top. That’S the one I’m gonna do three single crochets and I think this one is the tops on them. Do two more and I’m gonna go stay the rest of the way down: [, Music, ] and, for the last part, I’m gonna slip. Stitch right into a second look right here see this is one just gonna, be I’m gonna substitute that one pull through and I’m going to cut the head change colors when I change colors, I’m gonna tie a knot, maybe like three times just so.
It can be secure, so I cut this. I’m gonna pull this through, not all the way don’t blow all the way. I’m gonna pull this through like this and I’m gonna. Stick it through this hole again so so once again someone’s in my background again, so I cut this dream that I started the whole project. Wait, I just cut it off, make sure you don’t cut the yarn, so it won’t unravel, and then I went in in the ending that I had cut off, but I didn’t cut off all the way. Cuz. I’m gonna hide glue this to the part to the toast.
If that makes sense, so I was just testing to see if it was ready, but it’s not so I had pause the video. So basically, I just took the Haiku card and I had to move just a little up put a little bit right there like a smart guy, and I basically pressed that string into it. But I didn’t actually like playing with it, because if you try to press it into it, it’s gonna turn white in here you see I’m not really pressing it.
I’m just holding me if that makes sense on top of the glue. I don’t want it to turn white, because then people can see that white on there and I don’t want this make a mistake and click like anything else. But this see I cut that I’m gonna cut the extra glue off. I was highly working me, you’d be cheerful hi. This is what the Finnish outcome of the toast look like, and I think it’s very cute. It’S really cute actually like toast.
